    space between deck and endbell

    because the area is alittle cramp this is why i dont recommend getting t600s. Having to tilt it forward it leaves little or no space. Im broke now and do not enough dough to change motors.

    Eventually if i were dremel a the shaded section will it work? will it compromise the hull integrity making it weaker?

    i plan to swop those inlets (circled area) to the etti 4mm 90degree inlet. If observe closely there not much space either for cooling tubes to run

      if you have NOT cut your flex shafts yet, move the motor forward another inch or so to lessen the amount of angle going to the stingers.

      removing the the lip area you have marked above the motor is not that bad. but do so with just enough removed to clear the motor.

      the 90 degree fittings will help you out on the motor mount as well. good thought there.

      I will be running the suppo motors that Ben carries on mine when I finish up on another project.

        point taken, on the other hand. You mentioned about having angled wood support. i get the idea,I be watching this with interests to see how actually to achieve it.

            Don't those mounts come with a plate that bolts to the bottom? If they do, just bend the plate to get the angle you need.

              The mounts we have are metal where the motor mounts. But the plate that goes on bottom is carbon fiber.

              I'll prob be shimming mine to get the angles I want then matting them down in place.

                Just a little tip for next time.

                I use silicone to fasten everything in position while doing a mockup. It holds really well but it can still be removed if you need to relocate something.

                When mockup is done and everything is working out, add your epoxy to secure things permanently.

                Sometimes I use a good amount of silicone as a final adhesive. I works great on servo mounts. Don't under estimate the stuff, it works great. I have even used silicone to secure motor mounts on lower powered hulls and I have never had a problem.

                  There is no ideal spot. It all depends on your components and it's layout. You want to mock everything up and make sure you can get the CG correct and also allow for some adjustability.

                    My mounts are aluminum with water fittings and the base is metal which I bent.I looked at the fighter cat ones and you could probably put a metal plate on the bottom instead of fiber.I am not having to deal with big motors like you guys have as mine are only 28X64 in runners with water jackets.

                        Thanks guys for the feedback. Just to summarize down all the suggestion raised so far

                        . To have aluminum mount plate bended angularly
                        . To silicon mock up in place followed by epoxy
                        . To fabricate angle wood support
