what'S wrong now Diesel?

The boat runs completly wet. What needs to happen to get this boat to run correctly is the trim tabs and stinger need to move up. A good starting place would also be to removed the trim tabs all together and try that. The boat needs a lot of trimming to run whatever.

crappy deal Diesel, now you got me all worried about running mine, did you make a video perhaps?? Doesn't make sense that the trim tabs would make it run super wet, especially since you raised them up didn't you?? how far did you get your stinger raised?? i got mine just a hair above the hull.

The only vid I got was like the first 10 seconds I hit the throttle it submarined and came back up upside down. At that point i put the camera a way and started trying to figure the boat out.

Boat can be a runner with a lot of work, I just don't have the time. My days of being fully involved in this hobby are numbered. My wife is pregnant currently and due Sept 1. So when my son is born I am sure I won't have time like i do now. So I am choosing not to spend most of that limited time working on this.

In no way, shape or form did you let anyone down..................This was an effort at something different, we were all just eager to see it go..............you dont owe anyone on here anything. Glad to have you over at RCG too BTW............

I'll definitely get some video of this running.....Thought about a big 5692 Leopard but decided to go with a 1717 since you already have a mount installed with a Castle 240HV esc....And a big 457 prop.....Thaks again D.

Well i should have mine running by the weekend if my motor shows up (1717) i will post video of maiden, finger scrossed it goes better than Diesels. Going to mount 2 3s 5000's in the back and another 2 in the middle so hopefully its a decent balance

Well, Did your motor show up? Did you get this thing together.

My motor did not show up, someone was a little slow getting to the post office.......................... I did throw my cc1520 in her just for kicks though!! ran it on 6s1p with an x448 prop, it went for a couple passes and was definately running what appeared to be nose heavy, although all my weight is rear of center and my batts were beside the motor. It was all that bad though, it almost got on plain, but just not there. I'm confident the extra power form teh 1717 and 6s2p and my extra 2 batts are going in the very rear, should get this thing on plain!!!

I was just gonna grab the camera but on the 3rd pass the flexshaft broke 1 1/2" from the motor collet, haha stupid chinese 2 piece shafts! I ordered a .187 flex with 3/16" prop shaft.
