Here's how I did this idea in my Titan 29 { an old very battered, but still competative LSO-Spec rig}. Actually, the original location of the battery beds were up on the sides, but I like as much weight on the centerline/keel to minimize chine-wobble. A little crude in this 5 year old workhorse boat, but works for me. Quick-release nylon ties make things easy.2008 NAMBA P-Mono & P-Offshore Nat'l 2-Lap Record Holder; '15 P-Cat, P-Ltd Cat 2-Lap

Another choice would be 3M Dual lock:
It will break your battery trays before it lets go of the battery. Ask me how I know.

True. I have used this stuff but got tired of carring around the crowbar needed to release it.Originally posted by GP73 View PostAnother choice would be 3M Dual lock:

To cut it I use a Tungsten carbide saw like this:Originally posted by ozboater View Postvery nice bigbore... how did you get the cut outs done ?? looks super clean...

Then to refine the edges I use little diamond files and sand paper. The process is very long and It took me 8-10 hours to build it.
