I have a Hobby Wing "SeaKing" 180 Amp ESC. Chris scarab gave me this Idea. There are 2 water nipples on each end, and a large unused cavity in the middle. I was thinking I would close off 2 nipples 1 on each end, open up the 2 water passages in the unused cavity seal the unused cavity and I would add about 10 times mor water cooling I hope you guys understand what I am trying to say thanks Chris

I see what it is. There is a large opening for air cooling in the heatsink. You would have to close off the other side and add a nipple for the water line. It can be done. Question is do you really need to? Is it getting that hot?

I would use 2 existing nipples Have not used the esc yet ,,just throwing it out there better yet I would remove the 4 pressed in nipples tap them out 10/32 use the holes to mount a plate and tap a 10/32 water barb in the plateOriginally posted by SweetAccord View PostI see what it is. According to PropperChopper, the nipples are threaded. That is GENIOUS! How did you attach the 90* fitting to the inside of the cooling area and what did you use to seal on the metal plate? I can't find that other thread you mentioned.

If you haven't checked already, make sure to remove the heatsink to make sure they are getting good contact with the FETs. Many instances of only a few (like 1/4) of the total FETS contacting the thermal tape the mfg uses. Just want you to get the maximum benefit of your outstanding mod.
