My vote for first build is a MM with the nice Hatch. Maybe a CC1518 or a Leopard 4074 1774kv on 4s2p on a seaking 180.

        Or a skunk cat http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=spPr80I-kpA

I've got a nice skunk hull I may part with if you are interested in one. Has rudder and struts installed. Cf laid in the bottom also.

Hard to beat the price on these for the speed potential:

He sells them as kits with single or dual drive setups and you put it together. He has a 37" hull as well.
I'm not sure what your budget is or how you intend to use it but I think something like thsi would be perfect for getting your feet wet in FE boating.

Bob, actually a friend of mine contacted me this A.M. about the hull. I think he will be grabbing it from me, but if not I'll shoot you a pm. It is a 32 inch cat setup for twins.
