finally got my lipos on 6-16-10!! i ordered on 5-21-10!! ems shipping!!!!! i know its not hobby king fault but damn it man!!!!!! also i wish the prices on the invoice i received were really the prices i paid!! lol. if so my lipos would only be about $6 ea. that would be sweet!! lol.

I should have noticed this tread before I replied to my own thread in the Batteries Forum. I ordered some lipos from hobby king back on May 29, and I just got them today!!! Tracking info showed they were held in customs in hong kong, then held in customs in Singapore

You bought it cheap....you gotta wait. You paid extra for EMS and it took 25 days? That's inexcusable. I order product from China mainland by EMS all the time....big cartons....never more than 6-9 days MAX. Sometimes in 3 or 4 days. Somebody's collecting EMS fees and sending by slow boat. Somethin stinky going on. Why isn't that Hobbyking's fault? When did they ship them?

Looks like the 'fast shipping' from Hobbyking has become a thing of the past. Are THEY shipping in a timely manner? I've never known EMS or even Hong Kong post to be inefficient. Now the China mainland, that's a different story.

Let me know what you find out. I have friends in China that will find me a reasonable EMS broker. Much cheaper and usually about as fast and no more damage than fedex or DHL and UPS for damn sure. I swear UPS could break an anvil!

Looks like I have to call Fedex. I will have to dig out all the fee's they have charged.

Check this out. Not complaining but a warranty item is being returned to me by way of zurich on its way to the U.S. This is going to be one well travelled piece of equipment.

not in the US. but i orderd 4 batteries (turnigy 5800 3s) on the 14th. deliverd today and that include beeing held in norwegian customs for 2 days so they still CAN ship fast.

they were shipped on 5-23. i guess the order got hung up at the airport because of the lipos??? that was the only explanation i was given anyway. more than once too. it was shipped by air i checked. lol. i was just glad they arrived at all because i have never had anything take that long ever from anywhere!!!! my last order from hk was 4 days to my door. i agree completely its inexcusable. i think i am about over the zippys anyway. most of boats i have they work fine but i am sure with some hyperions or equivalent i would see some pretty big differences. i think next time i need some lipos i am going that route anyway.

Not impressed with this new Swiss Post outfit.
I order and pay on the 12th
They show up in Singapore on the 18th
A quick stopover in Zurich on the 23rd
When they will get to New Zealand is anyones guess.

I can get small parts out from England in 5 days max.
Small bits from e-bay Hong Kong in 5-6 days.

I used to get stuff from HK in about 5-8 days but now this new mail system is not on.
Paying extra for the EMS service was not worth it before but I may have to look at that now.

12 days after items were paid for I got them..
every order I've placed with them I get in 12 days

It could have been worse, but the shipping time still sucked for having paid for EMS shipping. Just before I received the HK orders, I ordered some lipos from Pat at rclipos.com on 6/18 and received them on 6/22 and didn't have to pay for any special shipping as he includes free shipping on his orders.

For me to have to wait 12days for the great prices is well worth the wait!
heck the chargers were only $19 each
