I have had varying transit times when ordering from them, but it will get here and you did get the best batteries at an awesome price.

On my order it said "your order may take up to 45 days to arrive"

Unfortunately not all countries are as efficient as they should be and things happen. Bottom line is there is a sacrifice to saving money....if you are dissatisfied buy batteries labeled in the US for 5 times the price.

wouldent be the first time things have ended up at the bottom of a container as things stack up as they wait, then yours wil be delayed even more.

Ordered a LiPo charger & two 5000 mAh 2S1P Turnigy packs:

28 May - - PayPal payment received, order sent to warehouse print queue for processing.

3 June - - Order dispatched from warehouse.

Seven days, & my order has yet to enter the Hong Kong mail system … ash from Iceland’s volcanic eruption must have inundated Hobby King’s warehouse … HAW !!!

Could also have to do w/ shipping of the Lipos. Theres a big article on that too. BUT, it shoulda got out by now. I ordered a 5000mah 2S lipo a few days back. Usually it enters HK mail pretty quick. That particular shippment took about 4 days to get in the system. Its now left for the states. Why not shoot them an email and see whats up?

My 5000 packs I ordered and was expecting Tuesday did arrive. Took about 10 days from purchase.

Well they most certainly are not shipping stuff out in 24 Hrs as they claim.

My order took a week for them to fill...

Sounds like a crap shoot at best. As long as you demand their cheap prices, you'll have to wait...or not!

Look at your e-mail. They have 45 days to get it to your door. Stop complaining. Buy your batteries from the LHS if you don't like it. It will leave more inventory for us that don't whine about getting a good deal.

Wow. At least you have info on your order. I made an order on the 24th, said it shipped the 25th. Then the whole HKP Lipo fiasco happened and I'm still stuck without any updated tracking information on a package where I paid for EMS shipping.

I have a few orders, the ones with larger lipos are MIA and some have been returned to sender... The ones without have been sent and are tracking as expected.

As with ordering anything from across the globe on the other side of the planet... there are many things to go wrong and many shipping terminals to pass through. It's amazing that it get's here within a month on any level.

JMHO- keep your expectations low and be happy with anything that results. If you need something, order locally or within the US.

That's definitely what I have to change my attitude towards. This is my 7th order from HK and the only one I've had any problems with.

Usually when I want lipos quicker, I just order from Pat at rclipos.com.

From HobbyKing the Turnigy LiPos took 4 days via EMS to Washington State. I try to buy most my stuff from Steve www.offshoreelectrics.com if he stocks it because he is so blazing fast with shipping.

I see that this is posted on the front page of HobbyKing

                            "Air transport delay.
Please be aware that the Hong Kong/China Airports have placed an increased focus on parcel security. This has delayed many orders for up to 7 days.
If you find that your order is marked as shipped but does not have a tracking number, or the tracking number isnt working, please do not be alarmed. Over the coming days the tracking numbers will be registered as the Airport filters through the backlog of parcels.
To help reduce the backlog, we're shipping out alot of orders via alternative express methods and via different countries. This is helping to reduce a possible 2-3 week backlog to around 1 week only. We are doing this at a considerable cost to us and hope you can appreciate the extra effort we're taking to avoid these delays which are out of our control.
The current delay is expected for another 7 days and we will update this message early next week or as soon as there is any change the the current status. "

Looks like they are aware of the problem
