Stuffing tube help needed

I can't get my teflon tube for .130 cable into the 7/32 brass tube I have. How the hell do I get it in there? It wont budge.

Are you sure it's a 7/32 tube? Are you sure it's a 0.130? Mine all fit a bit loose

Stretch it a bit and then slide it in.

I got the tube and teflon from ose. No mistake about either.

Did you de-burr the end of the stuffing tube after you cut it to length?

I didnt even cut it yet. So there are no burr's.

7/32 is like .21 something. I dont have a chart in front of me right now. You must be using 5/32? Normal teflon line should slide right in like Diego said in 5/32 tubing. I wonder if you got an odd size teflon?

you might measure the od of your teflon and id of brass with calipers to help understand how much we are talking - Jeff's point is good, sometimes the teflon is juuuuusst a hair big and stretching it actually decreases the diameter.

I found it easier to pull the teflon though instead of pushing it. Hook the end with a stiff wire
and add a couple drop of thin oil then pull it though.hope this helps.

Measured od of teflon was about .183 and the brass id was bout 5mm or 1.79

giver a stretch and maybe some oil, oughta slip in..

I have even run sand paper down it to remove a few .000

Tight is good! I have seen some want to actually spin in the stuffing tube.

Measured od of teflon was about .183 and the brass id was bout 5mm or 1.79

That brass tubing id is too small if true. I measured my stock and its .191 id and the octura OC130L-24C .130 flex/teflon combo slides right in my tubing.
