All I want is 200 amps for 60 seconds. Its all over after that. In fact its all over at about 47 seconds. 1 hour would be boring. Each to there own.

i remeber seeing some fets awhile back that were around 100 amps each constant, so three (one for each driver) would give you a 300 amp constant esc
from memory switching speed was still fast enough for our applications.
just dont think its available to the public yet

I doubt anyone could actually concentrate for much longer than 4-8 minutes per heat anyways.

Another way to see it is that you could go to the pond WITHOUT a charger and run/race all day.

We will always gear/prop our equipment for the length of the heat. Forget about wearing out your esc and motor....the drive line will take the most abuse. Better start making some oilers.

Got gas myself....the boat and bodily kind.

But to think you only need one item to "re-fill" your lipo pack is a plus in my book. When I take and run both gas and FE at the pond the big draw back to FE is the support equipment. It would be a nice alternative to bringing a generator/charges and another table to put it all on.
