Mel279, the motor on your second link looks like the ones sold as RAY motors in Europe. Pelikan in the Czech Republic carries these RAY motors. They are very good quality (Chinese?!) motors, not cheap at all. Wonder who makes those?!

This is a XL sized, 11 turns, 1510 RPM per volt This one will be powered by 2x3S batteries

You are probably right Brushless55 and I'm on your side on that one, but wait and see, as far as I could read on the OSE forum and on the french board, I would say there are 50% chance that this is going to work fine (think positively), but again how can a $40 motor be as good as a $80 one??? Another chinese mystery!
He has been warned by enough people! Feigao motors have proven themself their relatively good quality, not the XPower's. I personnely love my 8XL and I'm happy that I could not purchase any lower end motor when I had to!

I do love my 6XL in my Revo, and on the Traxxas site I get nailed because I didn't spend the 300 bucks for the MMM and they think it sucks and cannot compete with the MMM and will over heat
