You can only pay $10 one time (according to the rules),
it'll be a while until we get a unified set of rules... it would be VERY, VERY nice
to have one set of official rules.

Then we could have specialty "nitro" and "gas" classes.
Sounds very tempting but having another association to "crowed the kitchen" ?!
    I think not.

Douggie, I follow F1 and if you do, you'll know that FIA is in making all these rules that the drivers and teams are NOT very keen on... it has become a political game instead of a race. Just look at the scandal that just happened with Renault...

If your a current NAMBA member then you can pay the $10 for the single IMPBA event.

    Just stating facts, guys....

I think... and this from what I understand goes for both orgs

You have to be a member of either NAMBA or IMPBA to qualify for the 10 dollar race fee if you race out side of NAMBA or IMPBA..

    Hum.. that’s hard to qualify..

    Lets see..

To race for the 10 dollar fee in a IMPBA event you must be a current member of NAMBA.. of vice a versa..

Still not sure that came out right..

Really? It worked at the IMPBA SAWS a couple of years ago. I paid my $10 and was good to go although a NAMBA member. Maybe it has changed. I do know they changed their insurance company or coverage since then.

I am a sport boater so these organisations have no leverage on what I do with my boats. My home insurance covers any mishaps that may happen on my feable attempts at driving. Take the Formula 1 series as an example the rules are changed every year, is this good or bad I do not know, but technology advances demand a look at the rules for those that race

That would force the hand of the current groups to face the FE guys.

I'm NAMBA [#678]. When I read the candidate's [ for Director] bio's, it seems that Al Waters has a good eye on the FE crowd, as well as his good working relationship with the Grims, who are very openminded about FE. I'm optimistic, although I feel for Darin's frustrations when his best efforts in the past have been not been overly rewarded, to say the least.

Too far away to be of benefit either or myself. Im really trying to get to Seattle to go play with the guys there but weekends are my busy time and the summer you can forget about a day off.
