Most days here in the PNW I have 1 to 3 foot waves on the beach. What would be a good toy to bash around it the waves with.

RC Surfer
Get yourself an RC Surfer, have a look on Youtube as well as ebay, you could easily convert to brushless and lipo for a rocket, It is something that has been on my to do list for ages, but other projects keep getting in the way.
Cheers...Tim.

I have seen these little jet boats before and have not been able to find them recently. I have seen them take a lot of abuse without dying. I just ordered 2 so my wife and I can use them at the same time. and at 29.99 its a great deal for a thrasher toy

I can always update the motor and batteryan RC rock crawler lost in a sea of boat parts.........

You definitely would want something that self-rights. I used to play with the Cen wavesharks. Without the rider it flips quicker.Steven Vaccaro

Good Idea, I will make these self righting. I might even coat the hull with an alum skin LOLOriginally posted by Steven Vaccaro View PostYou definitely would want something that self-rights. You may be able to get away with adding something that's buoyant to the top of the roll bar, it would also double as cool looking roll bar foam covering. As long as it doesn't totally stay upside down, a small wave may roll it back over.Steven Vaccaro

These are a blast. I've got one with a brushless outrunner and 3s lipo - fast enough. But I've never seen one flip - with the lipos on the bottom, the COG is too low I guess. Here's a link to a forum thread on that boat. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_79...tm.htm#8845764
and on post #84 there's a pic of my boat with other motors in trial. I changed the drivers to something not so serious. And heres a video of it on a river. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8LiVQzF4EDQ SdgLegend 36 sailboat, KMB Powerjet Ed Hardy Viper, ABC jet pwrd BBY Oval Master, ABC Hobby Jetski, NQD Tear Into's, HK Discovery 500, MickieBeez pwrd Jet Rigger!, Davette/Gravtix jet sprint, KMB Powerjet Pursuit, NQD pwrd Jet Catamaran!,Steam pwrd African Queen, Sidewinder airboat, Graupner Eco Power

Well the 2 high dollar boats showed up today. But with a major downpour happening probably wont get em wet till tomorrow

abs hull of decent thickness nice driver and motor detail. uses 2 body posts to mount the hatch into a groove that empties to the rear of the boat

the intake is going to need a little work

the hull is totally sealed, Im gonna have to fix that!an RC rock crawler lost in a sea of boat parts.........

i have one of these, made it brushless and lipo, it screams but the jet unit becomes unprimed quite easilly. Make sure u bush the jet unit with a bit of brass.
my choice for the wave boat would have been a oval master 26, build a flood chamber and your done!
