I could run 8s , what would you say is the max cell i can run 10s on the neu 1527 1250kv?? but 10s would weight alot does this make a different??

What would be the advantage of running 8s on the 1250kv motor over runing 6s on a 1500kv?? seem the 1500kv would be faster on 6s and cheaper on battery wise??

    Thanks

Eight S would be maximum on the 1250 Kv motor, that would be about 33,000 rpm on the water. You will have plenty of power for the small amount of extra weight.

Running 8S allows you to have the same power at lower amps, or more power with the same amps. For larger boats it is usually better to run more voltage. Efficiency is higher and the amps needed are lower. It is just easier on the whole system. And 8S with the 1250 motor will be faster than 6S on the 1500 motor - 33,000 rpm versus 30,000 rpm - at lower amps.
