Turnigy 120 esc only runs for 30 secs

My turnigy 120 ESC only works for around 30 secs then cuts out

after that it barely turns the motor over for about 5 secs then cuts out again

does this with my overlander motor and a brand new turnigy on 3s

any ideas?

could be an LVC problem
try charging the pack (i'f you're running it out of the box)
if not, perhaps disable the LVC but be careful about runtime so you don't overdischarge your packs

also, if you are running like 20C packs, switch over to at least 40C packs.

the lower C rating packs (lower discharge) will dip in voltage under load, thus triggering the LVC.
+ they will puff up and/or worse if you draw too much from them.
