DO NOT USE A 24V POWER SUPPLY ON A 12V CHARGER! Unless you charger is rated at 24V input you should stay below the maximum input voltage. If you apply 24 volts to a 12V charger be prepared fro smoke.

The 208B according to its input specs is good from 4.5VDC to 32VDC so a 24VDC power supply is suitable.

You can use a 12V or 24V as long as the power supply can deliver the current. The guy in the video is charging at 3C or 15A for a 6S 500mAh pack which is not recommended as good practice.

Yeah I always have plenty of time on my hands so i charge at 1c
The DC chargers have inverts in them to step up the voltage and then recify, so if you have the 24V supply already, great, but I wouldn't buy one specifically and expect a different result. Most chargers will go to 18V input, so if you were going to buy a new power supply stick with 12/13.8V as it will give you the broadest selection of chargers to use in the future.
Yes, I also only charge on 1C .... patience ..... we are not born with it, we learn it.
That is also why 1 run 2 chargers off 1 powersupply (charge 2 batts at once at 1C), and they now make quad chargers which sell like hot cakes so you can gently charge 4 packs at once. At 1C who needs a temp probe ????
