No kidding. Getting those was even a struggle....This whole electric thing is nothing but a mind bending out of stock waiting game...I'll keep your name handy as I might be doing that very soon...
Really, let me know if you want to sale what you got. Thanks.
I think its more of a manufacturing issue then anything. I just can't imagine that everyone is that bad at stocking there business. I don't think the manufactures can keep up with demand. I know in the airplane side it takes one machine almost 5 mins to make two wings. Theres only a handful of those machines in china. So that's why planes come to stock in cycles. They make so many of one then change the molds and make another. Maybe its similar with lipos.
Maybe. Back when I was first getting in to the EDF's I purchased a F-22 from Banana Rama and when it showed up it had been repackaged and the back of the Fuse wash smashed like somebody had dropped it on its end. Took me 98 days and hours of back and forth with those nutcases to send me a new fuse as they were OUT OF STOCK on fuselages. Looked everywhere for another fuse and nobody had them. Banana Rama had new planes they could have just pulled a fuse from one of those boxes and sent it to me....NEVER again !

Could one of you guys tell me how the hell you can get 2s2p out of 1 pack please ? I was under the impression that a 2s pack was a 2s pack and to get 2 in parallel would require wiring two separate packs in parallel. WTH is the difference between a 2s2P and a standard 2s pack if they both have two cells in one pack with one positive lead and one negative lead ? I was just about to pull the trigger on these and noticed the 2s2p and stopped. Grrrr....
In no expert but I believe a 2s1p pack means there are (2) 1cell lipos inside connected in series to create a 2s pack. A 2s2p pack means there are (4) 1cell lipos inside, 2 sets wired in parellel, then those 2 sets get connected in series to make 2s. Which means 2s2p. Basically it is only used in higher mah lipos. I actually have that exact lipo you linked.
Most common: 2s1p, inside the config is two one cell connected in series to get you the 7.4v. So if you are looking at a 5000mah, 2s lipo, it has two 5000mah one cell connected in series .
You are right, 2s2p has two groups of those, the both GROUPS are connected in parallel. So the manufacturer can use 2500mah cells to make 5000mah packs. Internally each group is connected in series (7.4v) then jointed together in parallel to double up the capacity. (2500+2500=5000mah).
BTW, hard cases are not ideal in boat application. There are threads written on that subject, I run soft packs , so I have no first hand experience , just to give you another headache,
Thanks Fella's.... But two of these packs can still be wired in 2 parallel and you can still balance charge them like a regular pack correct ?
Well, I wanted to run the hard case because believe it or not they are not as heavy as the soft packs. I'm trying to keep the weight down as much as possible without giving up c and mah rating. For instance...a 6600 mah 65c hard case 2s2p weighs 290 grams and a
(5000mah) 65c softy weighs in at 304 grams unless HK has the weight listed wrong.
In the words of Forest Gump...batteries are like a box of chocolates, you never know what your going to get. That is where my research on batteries has taken me anyway...LOL So you have puffed up the nano's ? What battery would you recommend then ?
