    Run 2P setups.

I run all my 10S boats that way on 5S, 25C 5000mah Turnigys that are going strong in their second season. Got them on sale for 35 bucks each!

You will find the same results with lipos anywhere on the net. You will read a lot and learn very little useful info.I have seen pictures of burned up nano techs and I have seen a video where nano techs beat thunder powers in every area. High c ratings are not going to guarantee anything. If your boats are over propped and ran too hard they WILL burn up motors and esc, s no matter what batteries you use.Gil Sonsino uses nano's and swears by them and he does a great deal of saw running where everything is pushed to the limit so saying they are marginal with nothing to go on but a picture you saw is ridiculous.

Like I said, it sounds like you need a different hobby.

No kidding. Getting those was even a struggle....This whole electric thing is nothing but a mind bending out of stock waiting game...I'll keep your name handy as I might be doing that very soon...

I would not recomend buying 1 dollar lipos. Save that buck for the pole cats, they need money too.
I try and avoid paste eaters.

No, it sounds like these vendors need to keep things in stock. I've been doing nitro cars trucks and boats for going on 28 years. EDF Jets for 5 years and Heli's for a month now. Its not the hobby, its these vendors in the electric boat end of the game that make things frustrating. I have two JAE 21 riggers and a .12 JAE rigger that I purchased everything to build them in a day and many of the parts came from weekend hobbyist with a lathe in their garage but they make things happen where these big electric vendors seem to stay out of stock and don't restock for months at a time. Its a sad case when you have carts at several vendors and get the parts together to build a couple of boats. You seem to want to make this about the Nanotech brand rather than what it is. I have Nanotech batteries for my planes and Heli's but boats are a whole different game where load and amps are concerned.
Fact is High C rated batteries keep the heat down on your electronics. I have seen it first hand and read about it to. Read just yesterday where two guys with the same exact setup were comparing notes and one guys ESC was getting 35* hotter than the other guys was. Turns out it was the lower c battery causing the problem even though it was enough to get by it was working the electronics over harder. If I remember correctly one guy was running 40c and the other guy 50c which both were probably over-rated to begin with. Going higher is just better performance and reassurance and I don't mind paying a little extra for that but MA's is out of their minds...

Done, couldn't find any vendors that had more than a few sizes, none of which I need.

Sorry, I misunderstood you. I don't want to run 2P as it adds weight to a already overpowered small hull. For instance 2s in series at 6600 65c vs. 4s in P at 3300 65c is over a 100 gram gain in weight where weight is already a issue. I am set on running in series. Thanks...

My Castle motor showed up today along with my offset rudder for the MG. That's one week of progress... lol
