I ordered and received a pair of 6s 65c 5000mah Turnigy A-Spec Nano G2 packs. Haven't test them yet, but I will this weekend. I'll report back after I've collected some data. My fingers are crossed that they are as good as my Dinogys.

Thank you. The 4200's would fit better in my Whip 40 and are cheaper so, I'm still waiting on confirmation of actual size and weight.

The majority of the race formula packs are hardcased yes, but the standard battery he makes are every bit as good they take a beating and never miss a beat. Not to say I abus3 my packs 😅🚤

Many I looked at are 2P inside... This is how they create a 70C pack, 2 x 35C cells in parallel inside. Impossible to know if one of the parallel cells is bad as it will only read the higher voltage of the 2.

Just looked again. Unless you are running 3300 or 2550Mah packs, the rest are ALL 2P packs. Total waste of money for boats. These are rc car specific where 2P is very difficult to arrange in a car unless it's built into a single pack. You can buy better and cheaper from HobbyKing.

I own a pair of HK Traxxas 7.6AH 2S2P packs I run in LSH only on spec AQ motors. I would never, ever ask more that 80-100 amps from this pack that is rated at 40C-80C. If I knew they were 2P before I bought them I would have passed on them as HK Typo'ed their description.

                Buyer beware!

Buzz is a smart guy, worth talking to if you understand voltage under load and internal resistance numbers.

I spoke to Buzz on the phone and he is getting a new shipment in shortly and fixing his website asap too. He did say that there very well may be a TYPO in the 4200 6S pack as it's size and weight are far too small for it's capacity.

Just waiting on the new shipment

Buzz is a very knowledgable guy, I'm not totally dumb when it comes to Lipo batteries but talking to Buzz is like talking to a live Lipo Tech manual!

Think I need a little education on the 2P packs vs single setup???
I would think they would be just as strong...

Well I've been testing my pair of 6s 65c 5000mah Turnigy A-Spec Nano G2 packs. And after the initial 3 break in cycles, I've got 5-6 runs on them, and they've performed very well so far. I have recorded my fastest pass so far at 92.3mph with them and I'm getting about 3-4mins of runtime. After that pass the Batts came back with a logged temp of 107°f. I'm pretty happy with them, but I'll keep you guys posted. They should really start coming to life in about another 5-6 cycles.

I've taken them down to between 30-40%, with no swelling or puffing of any kind.
