Heres my problem, my boat runs 7 cell battery packs and by 1/8 buggy runs 6 cell packs. I am trying a way to wire the packs so I can run them in both, with out have to mess with wires all the time. Would it work if I just add a plug like I have shown?
Need some help

I think it would work, but.....one cell would not end up with the same amount of cycles on it.
danielWhen you know it all.......you never will learn anything new

I would make two packs from the 7 cells. Take the seventh cell out of the pack and make a 6 cell pack. I have no idea what type of connectors that you have on the battery. I use bullet connectors on my battery packs. Put a positive and negative connector on the 6 cell pack. Put a positive and negative connector on the seventh cell. If you want to run 6 cells, use the 6 cell pack. If you want to run 7 cells, connect the negative connector of the 6 cell pack to the Positve connector of the single cell.Originally posted by roadrashracing View PostHeres my problem, my boat runs 7 cell battery packs and by 1/8 buggy runs 6 cell packs.
