I don't know man, that is a lot of holes. remember water+electronics=POOF
Looking real good, Like the carbon and also the screws around the windshield. The cutouts in the rear look perfect, are you going to have a plate underneath to seal it?

Have had some motivation problems and not enough time... but anyway I most likely will order quite mild setup to begin with.

        2 x Lehner 1940/10
        2x YGE 155 Navy (4-8s lipos)
        2 x kokam 5s lipos
propp not decided yet, start with smaller

Esc´s should have some margin to go for bit bigger (from 5s to 6s)
Motors I probably upgrade to 1950/7:s (lipos 6s) once I get boat work with 1940/10. Only problem seems to be the wire drive. For that I need really small (narrow) motor as lehner 1940 (36mm gross)

Esc is one question. Is YGE 155 Navy enough to give some margin?
I could hit 70-80-90 kmh with that setup?

I'd get the 1950/7 straight away... Run on 5s it's alot of money for 4x motors... 1200 euro +???

Also look at neu 1521 1Y it's what Ive got for my hpr 115

                  1940/10 on 5S ? what's your aim ? a parkingticket ????
YGE 155 is good ! for both the 140 and 1950's you want.

YGE controllers are able to hit your goal but if you are going to use 1940/10 you need more volts (6s). I would go with 1950/7 and 6s straight away.... For my setup first i had decide to go with 6s and neus 1521 1y but now i'm thinking seriously to go straight away with 7s!

I have another smaller cat with 3,5cc nitro and I was planning to put another set of motors to it. I was thinking that also with less power I could "test" mechanics on Mystic and then rethink how much more is needed or suitable.

                        on http://hpr06.speedtoy.com/setup.htm
there is quite alot 1940/7-8 set up with 5-6s and they hit decent speeds over 100kmh. Of course that is over 5000 rpm more than 1940/10.

My problem: I think too much, should listen to you more. parking ticket

well, westbeach knows, but I am officially running 1521 1.5y on 10s for my 06. If if that doesn't get me there, well then 12s it is. Yea 10s1p for the whole boat not each. 50 amp max draw per motor at this wind a good set of lipos will handle 3x that.

                            Guys,
i was wondering if two of those http://mgm-compro.com/index.php?tid=...-boat-e-series
can handle ampers (with Neus 1521 1Y and 6s-7s, props 4518 3 propshop)
I know that this http://mgm-compro.com/index.php?tid=...-boat-e-series is better and more safe for my setup but if a pair of 140amp version can work without a problems why to spend 150euros more! Can i calculate how many amps will draw my motors?

I dont... let say I have very very limited knowledge on electric: volts, watts and amps....

But ok, I wont try to invent the wheel again, cuz I cannot. Based on suggestions: (thank you for those). Lets try again
                              - 2x YGE 155 navy
                              - 2x Lehner 1950/7
                              - 5s lipos

Will this kind of setup stay cool enough (water cooling) or what way to reduce heat?
                              - 1950/8 + 6s vs 1950/7 + 5s
(I will place the order and think about the smaller cat later)

BTW: how far YGE 120 navy is good? (for smaller cat) 1940/7 and 4s?

I would go for the 1950's right away. I can not see that the 1940 motors are much easier to install then the 1950.

I am building the same boat and will use wire drives.
I will try to take som pictures when I start to build.
Here is what I am starting out with:

                                2 x Lehner1950-5 HiAmp LK & WK
                                6S 5500 mAh Hyperion VX 35C
                                2 x Turnigy Marine 180A Esc
                                L&R ABC 1516/3

I wonder if the esc's will handle it?
In guess in theory yes, but if not I am also interested in trying out the mgm Com Pro esc's but I will go for the bigger ones. Anybody that have experience with these?
Complete range of our off-the-shelf types of electric motors, inverters / ESCs / speed controllers 3kW up to 400kW, BMSs, electronic contactors, chargers and

I will also need to get myself a set of 5S Lipos as I expect the temps on the motors to be quite high. Anyway 6S will only be for short runs.
