YEAH!!! I SAW HER RUN... I WANNA SEE SOME MORE 6'S FOOTAGE!!!yeah, i put a 2700 kv motor in it and the esc pushed out the sleeve of the cap..its one of those turnity water cooled motors.. runs really fast though!! i also put a x438 on it and it is much better than the 3 blade i was running, less cavitation! im bonna go back to an 8xl only cus i love your other hydros set up sooo much!! how do you think shed run on an 8xl?

8XL on 4S with a x640 prop with medium timing rocks, if you don't push it too much you could try higher timing. - but could get smokey.

Besides, what's wrong with 50mph? Oh, right, its not quite 60. I will try to get footage, but it really handles like a dream - until the dolphin dive... we got booted off of perfection pond by some buzz-kill lady sayin it is private - although there are NO SIGNS... maybe she thinks it is HERS.

                New props

OK Wolf , What are these props you are trying , You have got me very interested. I'm still waiting on my new cell / props for the Simrad. So looks like I'll be chasing your speed times. If you do a vid put the camera on a side angle , will give us a better idea on how fast it really is. Good luck dude . BONEWAR

Good luck with motor set up, these props sound pretty soffistikated... need to see em.

So Wolf, do you have a target speed or just faster than the last run? I should be able to hit 60, but am not in a hurry as I know things can break at that speed.

what were your temps at 64?

                          must see props....

Alright guys.. I took her out with 477's cut down to 442's .2'' more pitch / backcut &detounged.i could tell right away she wasnt right.. I did a few passes and hit 61 or 62 or something..? As i was bringing her in she was tiilting and i could hear one motor reving w/out a load ( dejavu)... Im so sorry to all ! I lost the entire left drive drive. I KNOW WHAT HAPPENED AND IM KICKING MYSELF IN THE BUTT FOR IT!! last night as i was installing the drives my 1.5mm hardened handle allen tip broke. it was the last of 5 of them i keep on hand. so i used a regular allen and tightened all the coupling set screws as tight as i could . the problem is ive never had to use a normal allen to do this... it wasnt tight eneph those shafts could have been slipping in this case, causing the decreese in speed. i noticed a bit of a cavitation but thats from the cuts.. ill have to get andi to do me up another prop to match and retest.. tomorrow ill try again with an old shaft i soldered and egnegs 442's detounged and hope the shaft holds for a run (for the props sake).. ive got 2 old shafts so ill take the chance. then ill send them out to ed hughey to braze them ...im not gonna post anything tonight ( kinda boring at 60 mph) but will get a successful run tomorrow on footage along with pics of the props. i didnt get pics yet as i went through 7 batteries flying my t-28 @ the local park to take a break from miss timo..
