MHZ Racemaster ~SINISTER~

Building a MHZ Racemaster mono over the winter, going with the name SINISTER. For power she will be getting a Lehner 2280 with KBB spec 300A lite ESC, rudder and drive are MTC, and speedmaster billet trim tabs. First step is the inlay, I've yet to do one myself so I will be heading to Shawns (Apophis) for a lesson I will be taking all hardware in to be anodized black to get the look I'm after.

Those are some stout looking parts! Is there all ready one layer on inlay in the hull?

Nice, with that motor should be good for like 35-40 mph right?

Curious what will cell count be? Hardware looks great too, that MBP jacket is really cool.

Lol yeah she should hit 35-40 pretty easily. Will be running 8s, I've never used the MBP jackets before but I like the way they look.

It's a cool hull, a little narrow but I like it as well. I'll be getting started on it after Christmas

Made the trip to Shawns (Apophis) house today to get a lesson on inlays. I learned a lot, and will attempt to do my own inlays on future builds. Shawn did a great job on it, and we also got the transom doubler made as well.

Got a little work done today, I trimmed the excess carbon from the hatch, installed the transom doubler, and filled the bow with 2 party marine foam. Will start drilling some holes this week.

Had a little time before work so I got the motor mount mocked in place, drilled the stuffing tube hole, and got the tube bent. Fits like a glove

Also does anyone have any ideas on how to fill the void between the rear motor support and the bottom of the boat? I have like a 1.5" gap

Got the stuffing tube installed yesterday, today I'm getting the motor mount epoxied in and the stuffing tube brace is also getting installed.

Got the rear motor support bracket mocked up. Will be getting it glued in tomorrow
