    Props

Best speed was 49.2 with a M545 prop. Tried a M445 and got 47.8. Then tried a M447 and got 49.7. About the same speed as the M545 but seemed to accelerate quicker and ran about 5 deg cooler. For now I will stick with the M447 and play with the trim tabs and balance.

Boat for sale on RC Groups classified

I had planned to race it but that fell through. I am selling it here: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...0#post33417929

I did it in 2 pours figuring less chance of pushing the deck up. Worked great! When hard it sure stiffened up the nose and deck and is more flotation than loose pool noodles. It may be a week or so before my next post. Waiting on the strut and rudder. I want to install them before I place the motor, esc, batteries, etc. for balance.

If you cut a piece of wax paper in the shape of the deck and tape it in before you pour the foam it won't stick to the bow and pull it down, just for future reference.

Good idea, will do next time and on other projects. So far ---- the deck is fine.
