Need Hull Advice!

I appreciate all the help guys! Sadly, that's out of my price range. I was hoping to try and get everything for around 500-600, including batteries, a charger, and upgrades...I am getting back into the hobby so I have to replenish my setup first!

How about a Pursuit? The only thing you will need to fit the 4082 motor is a rear support. It should fit your budget and is a great running and handling boat.

Is there a certain hull that the motor will fit in with little/no work? I dont care if it is a mono or cat, I just want it to be solid enough to withstand the speeds that setup will push it. Are there any RTR boats with that setup already in it?

I run a TP 4060 1600kv motor in an Ariane 2 with a seaking 180 on 6s spinning a 646/3 blade prop. Just needed a tail ring mount added is all.
Here's an early test run. Running a bit wet in the smooth conditions.

KFX - thanks for all the info that's was a great post! I am really leaning towards this hull and would be interested in doing the same setup with the strut like yours. What size carbon tube (diameter) did you use for the flood chamber? It looks like you did brass stuff tube nested in that as well and then the .187 flex? Is the outer carbon tube large enough that you were able to do a slight bend on the stuff tube? I am just trying to conceptualize how that works compared to the standard mono stinger setup....

I used 16mm of tube. I used a generic cat strut. I only had to make a very slight bend. This allows a lot of up and down adjustment of the prop. This boat has seen over 91mph so far and I toned it down not long ago. In "sport" mode with a 1500kv motor it went 84.7 lol.

Awesome info again, thanks! I have an email into KB about the availability of the hull, waiting on a reply, but I am trying to get a parts list and gameplan together to build one of these.
