Got the trays tacked in place. I have to pick up some more syringes from the hobby shop. Best way I've found to put epoxy in places accurately.

I'd like some input. I was thinking about powder coating the water jacket fittings and steering rod semi gloss black. Yes? No? I was also thinking about putting a carbon sleeve over the water jacket. The servo mount...the top is just a square, should I make it a different shape? Maybe just powder coating the water jacket either semi gloss black or i have green that looks pretty nice, it's called granny smith green. Any other ideas?

I use medicine syringes from the drugstore and a $2.00 gallon of white vinegar from the grocery store to clean them out before the epoxy hardens.

Travis, another color would make things offset each other and would probably look good... DJ

I found some at walgreens, .39 each. Alot cheaper than the ones I've been using. Awesome!

I got the battery trays done. I havent been working on it much the past few days, I had a unexpected death in my family of someone close to me. I've kinda been in the shop to just be alone but honestly have not done much. Kinda numb and non caring about much at the moment. Anyway, I put a sticker on the esc plate just to see how it would look. And then my temp gauge came in today. I really like it and want to use it on the esc.

Thanks. I think the temp gauge would be neat. I'll probably flush mount it.

Sorry for your loss Travis just remember you have an entire OSE family here if you need us.

Where did you pick that temp gauge up at. Can it do multiple temps like the esc and motor?

Sorry for your loss Trav, I was in a fog yesterday myself I know how it feels. I lost my Mother almost two years ago and yesterday was her birthday, couldn't help but to think of her all day.

The Daytona is looking good and I'm looking forward to seeing what speeds it can hit as a single. I'm sure you saw that my hull kind of blew up at the time trials in Oct. I have a new carbon hull on the way, should be here soon. I'm not in a big hurry to build her tho, we won't have open water here till April lol. Mine will be a twin of course and I'm hoping to up my speeds a bit with it. The hull seems really stable at high speeds but definitely needs flat water. Good luck with it, here is the last video I got of my Daytona I miss it

It was my uncle. I've lost two uncles and my mom over the past few years. Only one uncle left. This one was close in age to me and he was like my big brother. I actually moved in with my grandparents when I was 12 and me and him shared a room for a couple years. So yea, it's pretty hard on me. So ort bout your mom, I know how that feels

                            Back to boats :)

What happened to your daytona? It was fiberglass? I bet it's stable at high speeds, my rivercat is smooth as could be at 97 and this hull looks much more suitable for high speeds.

Thx :) I'll be in the shop tonight and I'll be in my own little world. It's allows me to just get away. I may not get much done because I'm not concentrating very well but I'm gonna try.
