I'm sure there are several opinions on this, but I always use round.

I like the Flat ones on "P" Sports'
Less down angle required, = more forward thrust from the prop.
            OR
Use props with less lift = more forward thrust from the prop.

I have something I would like to say regarding Pete and he more than deserves to have this on the forum. I have never met someone with so much talent in my life. He can literally do it all (Fabricate, machine, design, and make "stuff" look good haha). If you want to have a great running boat you won't find someone that will do a better job or someone better to deal with. It is great to have a friend that has that kind of ability and will go above and beyond to do things the right way regardless of the price. If you are looking for a P sport do yourself a favor and talk to him. I guarantee if you buy one and put it together right you will have not only one of the best running boats available for the class, but more importantly a great looking one to boot. Thanks for everything you have done for me in the hobby Pete, You da MAN!!!

It is a very nice kit. Pete's standards remind me of Randy Naylor's.

Thanks for the great kit. You are a wonderful asset to the hobby. Fresh blood, mmmmmm.

I would put Pete's builds on par with Steve Reesor. That's a compliment I reserve for very few. Be proud Pete.

That is a nice shade of Yellow. What brand and color is it?

Questions... I haven't gone through my kit very thoroughly yet but, I will in a minute.

I know it has no batten sticks, 1/8" square. What ius best, Bass wood or Spruce? Where the heck do I find these in Canada since some things like this are like getting a phone in Russia? Lol...

What wood did you use for the nose piece? Hardwood, softwood, what type of tree?

How many sticks do I need approx.?

I can get basswood sticks or borrow the sticks out of my Whiplash kit until I need to replace them.

Larry and I are on the hunt for sticks in Canada.

                          Thank you!

Great hobbies has Basswood sticks 24" long....

Pete is a bum who spends to much time on fancy paint jobs that are only going to get banged up anyways....just put some black and white checkers on and be done with it.

Oh, and Ressor is a Kanadian...that makes everything he does superior to all others!

Pete does make a nice turn fin though....

Detox - Believe it or not, the JEGS boat was done with just the standard yellow paint from Klasskote! Turned out nice.

Canadians - I use 1/8" x 1/8" spruce. You could also use basswood. Sorry, I didn't realize it is not readily available in Canada. Pretty much every hobby shop in the USA has it. I get it in bulk, 36" length. If you are really having trouble, let me know and I can send some over.
