Nice work Rob. If I were to make a cap bank again I would add some type of conformal coating to the exposed metal because I had a Cap bank I made go pop and take out the esc. I think it arc'ed because I could see melted wire & solder joints. It was heat shrunk but, no conformal.

Go to the HOTMBC (Heart of Texas Model Boat Club) Facebook page, last weekend I posted interior shots of two Cheetahs with different motor positions. I prefer the motor in the rear with short wires, but both work great. The important thing is to position motor, packs and ESC to be able to adjust the CG between 9.5" and 10" ahead of the sponson transoms. Here are the two boats:

What is your rudder offset from center? or is it lined up just inside the Starboard sponson?

In line with what? It is offset a few inches from the strut as I see in pictures.
