Sealed up the lights and added some more strength to the stuffing tube.

I love every step of your build, can't wait to see a video. But if you want us to wait more, that's OK, I will be around, it's worth the wait.
P.S., staying up late, I see......

So much for getting the flex shaft built. I ran into a problem, the threads on a 1/4" to 3/16" step down OSE shaft are different unless this bullet nut that's been floating around in my parts box is metric or something lol

Ok so I figured out there some sort ok coating on the threads of the shaft . Some Bel-Ray grease and a vise was the only solution since I had no die. Worked out good.image.jpg

It flings oil so I will need to run small absorbent pads. I did a quick float test last night with no flex shaft to see if the RTR weight would make the water level higher than the stuffing tube and it was so water came in. Flex is built now and going to see how bad it is with the next float test . It may end up I that I need to minimize float times or get lighter batts.

Or you can machine the strut and put 6 sealed roller bearing in it like I've been doing. The stub shaft part of the flex fits tight enough in the bearings that there isn't any slack and water doesn't come in
