Now that's a good idea! I have some square bar....
I guess you haven't looked at my build thread lol

Now it was time for a bench test! The owner wanted to use something a little different for radio. He send me a new traxxas tqi setup with temp sensor and voltage meter. Pretty slick I think! I used the temp sensor on the esc. I pointed a heat gun at the heatsink and verified it's pretty accurate. Me like! I was kinda thinking about doing the same thing on one of my boats because I like gadgets. I have a spektrum dx4s but the telemetry does not reach far so I never worried about it.
I had an old iPhone laying around so I downloaded the app. Setup was a breeze. It pretty much did it itself lol.
Here's the dash board...

So now what I have left is installing g the hatch seal (on order cuz I ran out) and my hatch bolt setup. Hopefully the maiden will be this Saturday. I'll use tape on the hatch if I don't have time to get the hatch bolts done! I wanna see this thing....do its thing!
I also I'm going to buy in the next few days, a mini desktop cnc mill/router. It will allow me to cut my own small carbon parts out (under 11 x 7.5 inches). When I get it sorted out, it will have some nice custom engraved plates that go over the esc in the front and in the rear over the servo and receiver and wires. Should look pretty good when I'm done. I can't wait!
