Agreed! for some reason that prop works with that hull. maybe there is a better one, but out of all the ones i tried, that was the one that worked the best. I really liked the 1717 motor in it, but the tp motor would be just as good or maybe even better. thats the same motor my next build is gettin two of.

My next boat is getting one of these in a 36" team believer , the 1800 kv 6d. There a 6 pole so should be really torquey with the bigger inners.

How do you feel it runs? Hard to tell how fast it is in the video. You don't think that three blade is a little much? How were the temps?

I think it's handling really good. I'm not there to see it in person but from these vids it keeps getting better to me. The speed in this vid is about 45 mph , I know because I seen the gps pic Brian sent me. The prop can be doable if the strut is right. I would like to hear a more free spinning engine personally .
This boat isn't suppose to be too fast or he won't have any competition For me personally this was my first shot at building a race specific boat, a new platform using different materials and to try out a different build style that I probably could not have done as well if it weren't for the pioneer builders of the cheeta here posting there builds. 90 mph boats are almost too easy to build these days. My appreciation for the performance in handling is my objective.

Ha ha ! The way I do it is buy the props done and over power two big engines . or 4..... Pic the hull wisely. All the components to go 90+ are in the store. Now if you go by NAMBA rules it's a whole new game. Just building a none conforming 90+ mph boat that's good for a few passes shouldn't be that hard.

Now if you aren't in a big hurry to go 90 my build services are available but you can't be cheap and I will take my sweet time !

Build services sweet.... I want you to build me a 130 mph HPR or mystic in a jiffy since 90 mph boats are cake. Get one to run day in and day out with no headaches but that can also survive a crash at that speed over and over again if something was to go wrong. Doing 90 and doing 90 correctly are two different things.

If they were so easy to build then everyone on this forum would have one not just a select few.....

Ok, so back in 2008 I built my first FE. I didn't have clue what I was doing. This video shows a boat that's obviously not trimmed right but tough as nails. If I can almost do it with a mean machine running 9t 540xls on 6s with 25c lipos you can do it LMAO..... I helped to sell a bunch of MM with this vid by the way

Never said I'm that good of a builder ! What you are talking about is running pushing top shelf components to there limits and people who have $$$$ in a boat and tons of building experience . The way I see it if you can't build a boat that will hit 130 that you shouldn't be able to buy one . Let the guys with experience have there day, the crashed many boats getting there.

Not everyone one hear has time and patience to do a 90 mph boat build, for some it would be funding. For me it's time and money. I enjoy watching the guys who have been building long before me hit the SAW trap knowing that they are restricted to boat rules but not building skill. Personally for me when you start pushing past 70 the fun factor goes down because I feel like I'm risking my investment.
