Dead simple mod that is 100% water tight is to cut a piece of 1/4" bore silicon exhaust tube slightly longer than the gap, you simply slide it onto the stuffing tube then fit the stinger. It does the same but simpler than what tlandauer has shown in his pic.

      like this?
Yes, just like that...if I decide to go with a strut. I'm kinda leaning that way because of the adjustability I'll have. Thanks for the pic btw!

I guess I don't know half the crap I have. I came across this strut. With a little modification it will work. Was just about to order one lol.

I like the the idea of using a strut, the wet well like luck as a contact posted is how I will do my next mono. If I was to use a stinger again it would have up and down adjustability as well as angle adjustment.

Guess I could just sell the stinger.

Well guys, I decided I'm gonna sell it. I was building it for my son but he told me today he's just not really into boats. He is more in to cars and trucks, so he told me sell it so we can get a mamba monster setup to convert his 1/8 buggy. Ever since I did mine, he's got his mind set on doing his be a use he really enjoys the buggy.
