I really like it great job Keith. It definitely looks "empty," and there is nothing better than having a clean, seamless, uniform looking boat.

All together the best looking mystic 185 to date, carbon fiber has really given our boats a new face and has opened the door for us to create boats equally good looking inside as outside.

Well, I'm waiting for props with this one guys. Luckily Chris at Dasboata props can whip up a set for me relatively quickly, because I'm not sure I'll be able to get to them any time soon. I wanted to maiden this with x457s...I have some that are reduced to a smaller diameter but they're not large enough to push this big/heavy hull so x457s are my only options to keep it on the slower side. I have some x470s that would work well but I don't want to go that big without first running and getting everything set up first.
I'll try and get a video posted sometimes soon.

Among the best you can buy. Gobs of torque, great centering, plenty of speed, HV capability, and totally quiet (ever had a servo that makes that annoying loud buzz as soon as it's powered?).
I've had pretty good luck with the radio. Their 4ch rx is kind of a joke really...very Mickey Mouse in design/construction. The 5ch rx is slightly larger but a lot nicer in my opinion.

I agree with you on the 4ch Rx, it is kinda cheesey. The screen went bad on my radio but I called them and they're sending me a new one no charge even though my radio is out of warentee.. Here's another srevo brand that I found that is real nice, Billet cases, 319 oz. and all. http://www.ebay.com/itm/KST-BLS259-S...item43c76d8ed5 They're real big with the Heli guys..I've got them in two of my boats so far they work great!

Maiden run with x457s. Good for 80mph but ultimately the 3/16" shafts I'm running here are too small. I have some 1/4" shaft drives/props for it but they put me around ~100mph so I'll probably order some 1/4" propshop props for "sport" runs. I was happy with the performance. When you carry this boat it's hard to believe that a couple electric motors can move it like this. It's definitely a LOT of kinetic energy!

A special release film was sprayed with adhesive and used to line the front of the boat. This was done before pouring two-part urethane foam into the hull. Any foam used can shrink in time, and will typically suck down the top deck. With the release film it allows the foam to shrink without distorting the hull

Very nice and clean job. I appreciate what went into this. I layup and vacuum bag my own carbon fiber (most of it, but I found a cheap source recently) machine my own parts and powder coat my own parts (haven't pced anything on any builds just yet). So I know what kind of work it is to do this kind of thing. Also makes you feel good knowing you did it all yourself. Congrats on an awesome build!
