The lesson here guys is: if you don't use a thrust washer and leave little to no gap between the drive dog and strut, your boat will handle like crap.
Oh, FWIW, outboards use square end flex cables and fixed prop shafts..

I have no idea , I'm not a outboard scale hydro kind of guy but it use to amaze me how much it use to flop over from crazy torque effect and break shafts . It used flex cable . I think it was some old rtr kitOriginally posted by Rumdog View Post

Sorry guy's i have not been on here too much
, i just seen all the reply's and thanks for the info .....i will try and use the tip's , i got this boat running pretty good now , seal up the air intakes , it's almost water tight . I seen now that OSE stocks the .250 areomarine greasers and blocks the water from coming up the drive tube . I have put most of my builds and prop work on hold . I got some bad news from the cardiologist in late October and been going for many more test , i have been feeling good but test so otherwise . Cheers all and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year , looking forwards to spring .
