Hello guys . On my maiden i had 3 good runs , the next day i go to plug her in to retrieve the data log and POOF up in smoke that crappy Hydra Ice 200 Hv .....just like that . Castle you suck! sorry but no warranty on a brand new item . out now $470 thats what hurts . My bud Brandon Duncan ......can't say enough , he shipped me from Keith Bradley boats a Swordfish 200 Hv . I ran it twice with no Video . I do say it seemed to perform much better , i just need to get use too the throttle response. Ive done a few float tests to see where the waters coming in , i've sealed up some areas in concern . I'm on the pond tomorrow morning for some testing .IMGA0075.jpg

You really have to watch the Castles or any ESC for that matter. I did that with my Fantasm. Ran it in the morn, flipped it, thought it was fine that evening for a run but NO. That was my Flier big ESC. I am trying hard to not touch them for a week(time to dry thoroughly) before firing them again. Even with my waterproofing it still bites me now and again.

I have a big bag of rice in the basement of the cottage that does wonders sucking water out of damp ESCs.

It has a x465 on it , the swordfish only gave me one run and sent back to CHINA.I have revamped it now and only running 8s . This still has tons of power and very pleased .

It looks great, love the way it picks the nose up high under acceleration! Looks like a lot of fun to run!

To me the nose running high like that is due to the boats thrusting point. It doesn't look right. I would raise your strut up out of the water some and run thrust washers with smaller gap between the drive dog. It looks like your boats trying to flip over needlessly . Appearse the angle of your motor wich is your thrust point if your gap between your drive dog and strut is to big is nosing your boat up. Also could be a reason your esc's aren't lasting because the extra amperage caused by the boats handling.
