I have only taken off the paint so far slash , it worked awesome . This would be the next think i have to tackle . I don't see why not as its friendly too Fiber glass . For the outside of this hull i sprayed it on and waited 15 to 25 min then wiped it off with clean rags & rised it off with water . I'm going to try it for sure :) , no harmful odor either .

I have a few choices for ESC's, a pair of the same Castles, a pair of 8s Fightercat 300's, or a pair of FC 16s 240's. So you get the direction I am going,,, TWIN. Andy's R-42 really can crank so I am going twin 1717's or so goes the current plan. And planning on about 6600mah per motor. Also going with struts and wet well as the sponsons are different in depth from each other. There may be some tweak&tune involved here.

Slash did you find it , if so did you get a chance too apply it . AC make some nice hulls . I built one late last year with my buddy , we only had a few run with it before the winter freeze . It's a Lightning ....love the way it banks itself in the corners .

In the market for an ESC for this motor , suggestions here for 10s capable would be awesome . thanks for looking

Yup I got it. And I also have a Lazer 40 that Andy got excited to hear I was building. I am blessed to get to run with him. His knowledge

That is what I am contemplating doing to the 42 as well Bob. I don't like the closed bubble that is the option. Did it take much overlay to make it strong enough?

I'm on hold for mounting the motor until my coupler comes , one was bought for me but its the wrong one from Promise hobby's . I needed a 8mm 1/4 this one is threaded on the motor end . I like the 3 peice that Kintec sells ....but opted for the one that OSE sells . I hope its here this week .

I kinda thought that when it goes air-born and comes down backwards it would stand less of a chance of ripping the cover off. New radio box starting to come together. position is next.DSC05802.jpgDSC05800.jpg
