I agree, definetly a new angle on high flotation hatchesOriginally posted by Fella1340 View PostIt's going to look great and be the most buoyant canopy out there!
I've got a hatch made from a shaped block of wood, for my miss Notre damn shovelnose unlimited hydro. I need to prime it, paint it, hardshell wax it, then lay resin & cloth over the mold to form a new hatch for her.
This on the other hand has me brainstorming options.

Len, a lot of elbow grease went into this lid. Could probably do the next a little easier. I would start with not using that Carbon weave cloth, it did not sand for beans.Originally posted by lenny View PostOk now that look great,

If I did the halo/arch it would be a bolt on for sure.Originally posted by gsbuickman View Post

I tried to weigh my hatch with a little handheld scale,
But it topped out at a little more than 4 0unces.

Thanks Lenny.Originally posted by lenny View PostI tried to weigh my hatch with a little handheld scale,

So I got out with it today
Just a run with that tweaked M447 and a pair of 4s 4400 SkyLipo's that have had cells replaced.
The wipeout was due to a stick in the water that my rudder darn near cut in half. When I brought it in it was stuck onto the rudder pretty good. Needless to say the rudder is SHARP.
