    Good,
Than there should not be any viking funeral for your baoat.

All the temps on your setup you want to keep at tops 135f and the lower the better.

Now if you where running a outrunner motor that could run a lot hotter,
And still handle it for the most part at 210f tops on the motor only.
Everything else like I said above at 135f or lower.

Also do not forget to check the temps on all the connectors setup to,
They can get very hot to and be a weak link in the setup some times.

I didn't think to check temps on the bullet connectors. I have 6mm in there now.

Just a good idea to check everything in the setup,
So you know what is going on before something happens.
It can work like a domino effect and leave you stuck out on the water if not worse.

Can anyone suggest something to bond the stuffing tube to the strut? I'm thinking CA glue won't do to the trick. What about blue threadlock? Will that work? Thanks.

I want to fix this so I can hit the lake this weekend. Thanks.

It can be heated to release. That is the stuff I use to make my flexes.

Great, I'll look for some tomorrow. Thanks for the info. I'm also thinking of making a stabilizer for the larger size tube that comes out of the flood tube, this will lock down the motor end of the tube so it can't shift again. I'll post up my idea when I get it done.

I think that is a good idea if there is room for it. Some sort of pivot or something that would tighten and be adjustable. Kent makes some. You could use as guideline- http://www.customcfparts.com/stockparts.htm
                      Third down the line

Oh and let the Loctite sit for 24hr before putting parts to use.

Thank you shawn for the link. I looked them over and I don't think they'll work. I do have something else in mind that will be brazed to the larger size stuffing to and then attatch it the the flood tube. I may also make a bracket for the back of the transom to support it on both ends.
