Oh man! That's a nasty spark!!! have you checked the esc settings? Timing and everything? I was thinking about lack of water flowing from the cooling system first but that run was only of a few seconds and not enough to heat up the electronics.

Oh I've been running it over the last couple days,water flow is good. I went with "middle"timing,PWM at 8khz,set to 6s.Those outrunners should be able to push those DT'd 447's.Unless I got some sort of short in the internal BEC.It had quit in that ESC.

Seeing that, I could almost smell my esc again. Sorry for the bad luck. I'd try to help you if I could.

That's what I've heard about them too! I have two of those but I have not fired them up yet!

I run my P1 35"KOS V500 motor 2000kv at 26.25 timing on 4s and 5s,
Temps run high on outrunner like 160 to 185 some times in warmer weather.
