That will work Mason.Its best to have the rudder on the right side of the transom on mono or v hulls,but u can always get the offset bracket later.You will also have alot of prop choices with the 3/16 shaft.

Yes,that paint will work too. Just make sure its enamel and you prime first.

Go buy a $2 pool noodle and cut it to fit in the front of the hull for flotation.

One can of each should do it. Silicone works well,but do the sealing after you paint because the paint will not stick to the silicone unless its a paint grade silicone

I would spray the primer then sand with the 400 grit.That should get rid of the scratches from the previous sanding.

I have a guy wanting 35 bucks for a used system of this. Comes with everything i need for a drive system in my boat he says. He is sending pics to my email. Ill try posting them here for you to see if i should get it.

Anybody know if he can simply turn this strut around so the nose isn't buried in the hull.I don't think we want to get into a wet well here.
