Better is applying the decals first and the clear coat the hull. Your decals are protected then and last longer.

No! Don't do that. Too hard to reverse if you ever want to change

If you scratch you decals, you most likely scratched your hull as well. These are good quality decals used for car wraps and outdoor applications. no need to protect them under clear coat. Just use a soft micro fiber cloth after the runs and you will never have a problem.

I dreamed about it yes but there are not on jet, today it’s a holiday in Belgium so I planned to make everything ready for painting and then hope I get time on Saturday to spray and hope next week to stick the decals.

That is true but I always did that on my 1/8 scale hydroplane.

                          Yes Kent,

the result is nice I like it just have to stick the number 10 and some decals on deck and its ready.
Now I’m very busy to find out what I will buy some lipo's maybe best 4s than 5s and going for smaller props in place of my 470mm.
Just that I want to hold everything in good condition?

Nice stuff Jim!! The German guys are getting good results on 5-6s with 4082/2200kv motors and 447 props. I guess with lipo's.... get what you can affort?? I run mostly nanotech 65-130c or what ever they are. Im told that I can do better, but not in a rush to upgrade as I have a fair few. If one day I'm chasing that last punch in speed, I would upgrade.

You'll get very good speeds with this set up, I run this exact setup and hit speeds of 99.6mph but she didn't stay in water so be careful. My props were
                              445 3b de tongue
Same motors same esc's but extra caps on-top of stock caps batteries were 6s zippy 40c.
I plan on running 450 3b de tongued once she is put back together after I've finished reinforcing EVERY THING.
                              Good luck great set up!!
