Man!!!! This thing is skinny!! But hard as a rock all over......................looks a little rough at the seams, but overall nicely done.

Didn't know "Daffodil" was a color option, thought i was getting white.

The motor is absolutely huge in the hull...................this may be more of a 1717 boat, i could throw the 5692 in Vader and the 1717 in here.......................hmmm. But I really want this to be brutally fast....................I'll see how it all fits.

That motor does look a little big in there.Where are you thinking for the batteries?Will they fit on the sides?

Is that your mini Rio ?
How wide and how long is that hull ?
May be a really small prop will get it going,
I thing you are going to need some pontoons for that torpedo with that motor.

The transom is very tight, i barely will have enough room for the rudder bracket above the stinger, MHZ recommends a center mount rudder and I agree on a narrow hull. My 4s 4000 45c batts will fit alongside the motor.

The last pic is the rudder taped on..............it wont be tucked in like that.

I offset the stinger by 4mm to the starboard side and put it at 5mm up to the base to give it some bite in the water due to it being narrow..........I usually go with 3mm for the stinger base from keel.

wow, very nice - might have to do one someday.
A thought on the rudder. I have a smaller narrow cigarette boat and found that inline can cause funky turning. I would mount that rudder just at the starboard OD of the prop, thus minimizing the prop wash. I found that the wash being angled to the port as it shoots back made left turns very insensitive and right very sensitive. I moved mine just out of the main cone and it performed much better.
Let me know when/if you are wanting to sell... AFTER you paint her up that is..

Hmmmm, I may have to consider that Jesse.............hate to drill alot of hole to experiment though.

I hang on to my "special" builds...............My 39" Vader Mono, 50" Hydro etc................and this one will be a keeper.

I know a guy who is going to paint it Pearl white and add a coat of clear using top notch auto paint...................for free!

Went ahead and bolted the rudder on as a centermount.........................EVERY one I have seen has it in the center for a reason I imagine.................I am a fan of center mounts as it calmed down a couple of my boats.

I guessed at the rudder setback and it looks like I was about right. I flipped the rudder mount over and attatched it from the outside to allow access to the stinger adjustment screw.
