Here's the short(wiggly) vid my 10 yr old son shot for me....................it ran great til it spun out the Graupner flex coupler at 0:49.

Never did get a long straightaway run due to the shortish pond i ran in today..............this setup will be just fine. I'll up it to an x447 and probably get 35 out of it.............thats plenty as i was just wanting a super simple, solid setup.............I'll be grabbin a new Graupner flex from Steven here though, the one i used was quite old and used alot.

Yep... Was on my site for a while and had many converting theirs to the same. You can make a better coupler with two good couplers and some 150 cable. The graupner was always breaking.

Well the 'two gears in one' part is chewed up.

SO...................i happen to have a spare Leopard 4074 laying around................ Gonna use a Graupner flex coupler to the thru-hull cup drive and the stock outdrive for scale appearance...........i may just run it on 3s with an x445.

How are those flex couplers? I need to do something like that with my large jet-boat.The shaft from the pump is slightly upwards and I may have to run the motor in the opposing downwards direction.It's just a 30mm jet so shouldn't put too much pressure on the coupler.
