Well, looks like it floats pretty well. Just add batteries and go right?

Btw, is the canopy kevlar/CF as well? Looks like you're going to have an external antenna?

Couple weeks, still need to finish the battery sleds and hatch. Not a big deal, when I run it I will definetly get video. By the way, boat without batteries weighs 16.7 pounds, (4) 6 cell packs around 7 pounds, so total should be around 24 pounds. Bad, not bad?

How much does the hull weigh empty before your started the project? Can you lay a tape measure starting from the tip to back? In some pics due to the angle the hatch/canopy looks really big or small. Just trying to get an idea of where it starts and ends and gauge size since it's a big hull.

57" long and 7pounds hull only, the big motors are majority of the weight. Manuel's ultra light 54" SAW boat was 20 pounds. Using high density foam in the front that weighs a bit, may need to use noodles.

did some research and the boat is at a perfect wieght for 12cell. All the HPR and MHZ 54" boats on 10 cell were in the 24lb to 26lb range. Found one 12cell HPR 138 thats 29lbs, these are all well handling and fast boats im speaking of.
