About 5 years ago i wanted a fast rc boat and my dad got me this cheap admiral rc boat. 5 years later i got a sv27 then what was the point for the admiral boat. Now im trying to rebuild it for my dad for fathers day which is in about 7 months and he cant know. it is a twin motor cat. im planing to put a traxxas evx-2 ans eveything else i have exept 2 opposite rotating props. these are some pics of it

You are going brushed?Is it gonna stay that way?Have you ever heard of a Turbo Zeta?

Yes its staying brushed but on 16.8 volts and no I haven't heard of turbo zeta

If you google it you should come up with info,also hydra zeta.I say this because I have one from my old twin motored Graupner Systems 7.I really don't have a use for it,the only brushed thing I have is my Axial.I believe it is good for 1600 amps and 32 cells.Look into it.I have instruction manual,programming box and ESC.

i looked around for them and it looks like they are out of buisness ?

PDI is gone but I had found info on the controller.I think on one of the car forums.PDI(Product Design Incorporated) was building them for tractor pulling stuff back in the 90's,they used to pull 3-400 lbs on a proper pull trailer.Its a lotta old school but good,waterproof and fairly simple.

ok so will that work better than a evx-2 water cooled ?

Not sure what an evx is.Is that the Traxxas Spartan ESC?

nope its something i need to complete along with the props

Well I've thought about it and this thing is in my way more than something I need.Just hate parting with something that was once prized.Open to your offer and I can ship it to you if you want it.I looked up the EVX and I guess if you ran stock cans and not much prop it'd be ok,but much more and poof.

No its not mechanical.It has a programming box.I would think Paypal would be the way to go.PM me an address and I'll see what shipping would be.

the only problem i have is that it looks like it has 2 reciver plugs and i only have a 2 channel reciver
