Im glad you said that Cornel because I wondered if it would being as to maybe how light they are? easier to spin. Guess I dont have to wonder anymore.

Strange I guess I better check it again.
I don't have the most perfect of balancers but it's pretty darn close from what I could tell.
What are you using to work them?
Also are you sharpening them any?
If so what are you using??
Just remembered the one I have is actually a 43.OSE GIFTING ELF
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!

Tenshock propellers don' t need job, they are pug and play
For twin setups you can order a set of 2 props L+R with any size and that' s cool.
Gimp, make tests with Graupner carbob K serie propellers and when you find the right size, buy Octura or Prather props. I should try a Graupner K51

Well I was able to get out twice this weekend.
Saturday: Was there for an hour and 45 minutes and only went through 1 set of batteries. I could only do 2 passes before the flex started screaming and moaning. Pulled in, greased, 2 passes, and repeat. Went home and did a little snooping around, turns out the motor/flex alignment was off. Used a drill bit in the stuffing tube to check it, ended up bending it a little to align it because the motor mount was maxed.
Sunday: Was a little nervous but was excited to see if I fixed the issue. Long story short...... Ran 4 sets of battery packs, 2 props, and spent an hour and 15 minutes grinning ear to ear!
Boat is freakin amazing. I was really impressed with the 42mm prop's performance. Everything was as cool as a cucumber so I stuck the 45mm in her. The bigger prop REALLY woke the boat up. Used 3 packs with the 45mm and the heat couldn't have been over 85-90*F on any of the components. No GPS reading but my dad and I both said 50mph, which is right where I want to be. I only have 3.75* of timing in it, so there might be a little speed left with the timing. The strut was level with the ride pads and I think I could even move the batteries back another 1/2".
Boat ran really strong. No wawa, launches itself clean out of the water on a hard launch, corners better than expected, etc etc....
I'm happy! Scott, thank you very much!
No pictures running due to problems on Saturday and having such a good time running on Sunday. But I did snap a few pics of it in the drink before we left....

Sweetnes Gimp! I like how the first and second pic blend as if there are two boats in the drink. And BOTH are yours!!!!!
I wonder why you couldnt get it to align properly... unless things shifted in transit. the stuffing tube was pretty much the last thing to be final epoxied. But I seriously doubt she woulda moved.

Thanks fellas. Scott, don't worry, I don't even care cause she's running 100%
I use 40-80C Gens Ace and 45-90C Nano-Tech 5000mah 2s batteries, LVC is set to 3.2V per cell (I've always used 3.2V in all my land/sea stuff). They've only got a handfull of runs on them but they're only taking about 4100mah of charge. Using the same settings/ESC, my MG took them alot further down. Just feels like I have a little more runtime left when the LVC kicks on. I'm assuming because it takes more power to run this hull? Should I lower the LVC or just leave it and keep the batteries safe?
Just for my own curiousity, are the CNC props alot sharper than the Graupner plastic ones? Will I see a small increase in speed with the CNC's?

Looks great Gimp! Any chance of posting a pic of the hull on a table top so I can see how your strut lines up? Mine is currently set at the centre line of the prop shaft set in line with the last ride pad but not sure if its this is right.
Don't forget to post some vids up too.

Thanks Matt. Mine is all level. If you sit it on a table, the sponsons and the bottom of the strut touch (all evenly).Originally posted by Mattwarner View PostLooks great Gimp!
