3675s would work, but may end up a little under powered. Id go 4074s. But it depends on what you may already have or if your not going for "how fast can I go"

Btw the castles on 6s with 447s will be right around 80mph. This is not an estimate. Its based off of my hpr on the exact same set up.

There's no real right answer for that. It starts with do you have anything for it yet? Batteries? Controllers? Bills set up is nice because with the 1520s on 4s it will run very well and will hopefully handle the course nicely. 5 and 6s will really liven it up. I like that specific ballpark kv because of that. But, if you already have a bunch of 4s or maybe some 5, you may consider a little higher kv.

I do have a bunch of 4s and would not mind to get a few 5s so a higher kv might be the answer. I hope to start my build soon so I don't tie up Bills thread.
Thanks again for your help have fun ruining this weekend if you see Dave (sharkbite) tell him I said hi and Missouri misses him lol.

This got busy while I was sleeping.
Jeff, if you haven't bought motors yet, I have a NIB pair of 2000 kv 4074 Tacon's that I ordered to put into this one for 4s use. A day before they arrived I ran across the 2nd 1520 (already had one) and went back to what I originally wanted to do with it. Also have a NIB pair of Leopard 4074 cooling jackets to go with them. $160 shipped for the motors & jackets if you're interested.

I don't really know on that one. I have one Leopard 5692 that I've run in my 47" mono and wasn't that impressed with it. The Tacons I don't have any real knowledge on either. I bought this pair to try them out but then came up with another 1520 so they haven't even been taken out of the boxes.

We're going to run tomorrow at Scott's pond. Way too windy for Ackerman this weekend unless running the heavy iron.
On the tacon's, I don't know how many poles but they are orange.

OK Here’s the 1st run. 4s with the timing set at 3.75 and props spinning out. The vid’s kinda long (about 3.5 min) and not all that exciting. Just mostly putting it in for comic relief. And maybe to brag the hottest things in there after the run were the battery packs which were less than 110F. Hull stayed nice n dry inside too.
You’ll probably notice that Scotts pond sort of intimidates me too. Especially with something that’s not handling all that great right at the moment.
Wish I could figure out how to make these things work with the thumbnail over here.
