Don't offer condolences just yet. The second run is uploading now and I was much happier with it.
I'll send you a pm in a bit with my paypal addy for the motors and jackets. No telling how long they would lay around here before I came up with something to put them in and thought they might be of use to you since you're wanting to build on a 4s saw platform.

The second run is proof positive that with twins you really have to try prop rotation both ways to see which works best. Since outward had worked best on “Goldfinger” started with them spinning that way on this one.
Actually made 3 changes before this run. Changed the prop rotation to inward, bumped the esc timing up to 7.5 and loaded it with my 5s packs. It was like a different boat with the way the porpoise went away.
Again the warmest items in the hull were the packs and still below 112F. And still dry as the proverbial “popcorn fart”. I still find the far side of Scott’s pond intimidating but really liked the acceleration spray pattern from the saw run portions of the vid. Kinda wish I had charged some 6s packs and that’s Scott’s GPS didn’t have dead batteries. Straight line it runs good but doesn’t corner much better than a Genesis.

I didn't even try to change the cg. It's still right around 10.5" from the sponson transom with 4s packs. The real change maker in handling was changing the prop rotation to inward. Bumping the esc timing up to 7.5 probably didn't hurt the power levels either.

Decided to do another 4s run just to compare/confirm the difference in prop rotation and esc timing changes. Scott decided to put his HPR cat in on 4s and run with me. Now I’m really nervous between the tight quarters and having his very expensive carbon fiber European cat in the water with mine. We both escaped with no dings or scrapes so it’s all good.
