32" FC Rivercat build with twins project

Tried the tape by the domes I made. Seems to fit ok. So I'll leave them there.



Started on a little blueprinting the ride pads. Not finished yet. Going to install water pickups before I move on with the blue printing.

Got holes drilled and tubes in to make water pickups. Might still need some fine filing on the tear drop shape.

Little by little. Just getting an idea of where I want stuff and how it will look. Still need to mount rudder servo & make linkage. Then mount all the trays.

I'm a little concerned about my water pickup holes. Are they shaped right? Or should they have a sort of a more oval type shape?

Viewing from my phone, they look great to me. Tear drop shape is typically how they come out

Nice looking boat coming along JP. If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the alloy plate in the centre of your hull in the above pic? Looks trick.

Man that's limited edition stuff from FighterCat. Lol. It's really just the wood tray Ben sells. I sanded it and painted it silver. I'll prob hit it with paint one more time since some of it soaked in now. I wanted something silver in there other than the motor mounts. Came out pretty nice looking really. Most of it will be covered up by esc's, rx & wires after it's all said and done.

Yours will do good Jerry. Getting them dialed in is part of the hobby too. I know how ya feel tho trust me.
