How's the RX/ESC working?

I'll look for it tomorrow and try and get it out asap. As far as the esc goes I'm still haveing the same problem? I tried moving the wires around but haven't tried a different t/x allthough the mini-t one is brand new and the same as the mini-v one. I'll try the mini-v radio one of these days? Did you ever use the esc? If so did you notice any range issues?

It was never powered on. I opened the box, took out the boat, removed everything in just a few minutes.

I just found that chrystal. I forgot I had a JR XR2 tx hooked up to the SV while I was testing it in the tub. I'll try and remember to get it in the mail the next couple of days. Sorry about that.

It ran great in a straight line. Did you ever attempt a full speed turn?

No, I was too afraid to turn with any bit of throttle. SJFE told me that it's how cats run, and it will turn flat given some throttle. Maybe the new owner will have the courage to try it.

I did the same conversion with my mini V but when I twisted the stuffing tube out it cracked the hull a little near the strut. No big deal, I fixed it with a little ca glue and marine epoxy. I used a pulso 40amp esc, a feigao 16s 2500kv motor, detounged x432, and 3s 1650HV 15c battery. The battery is the weak link but the boat flies. It litterally jumps like 2 feet out of the water if you juice the throttle. Do you think this will be a decent set-up? The hull is only 16" so I figure I'll have a pretty quick little micro Hydro on my hands.
I noticed on that site I could just get a micro hydro boat for like $231. but that kind of defeats the purpose of finding a hull for the stuff I got. I also would like to build my own boat but I'll have to figure out what it'll cost for hull, hardware, mount, shaft and a pushrod if the mini-v one doesn't work.

I'm putting a 1615 2 turn Mega in it with a 70 amp esc, lipo 2S-1500Mah 25C and a x427 prop. RC worldwide had (i bought the last one) the blue rudder (micro) for $15. I'm using a Fullers strut with .130 cable and octura coupler. Should bea handfull!
