4s vs. 5s same speed

if you had two identical boats both with 2000kv motors both propped to go 40 mph one on 4s and other on 5s would they both draw similar amps and have close runtime

I would imagine the one on 4s would have shorter run times and draw more amps as it would have to have a larger prop.

No. It takes a certain amount of power (watts) to go a given speed. Volts x Amps = Watts. With a higher voltage, you need a lowe curren tto achieve the same power.

Runtime is relative to current draw, so obviously this would change as well.
